The Thrill Sweater - English
This pattern is in English.
The Thrill Sweater is a cropped and lightweight summer sweater worked in the “2 rounds knit, 1 round purl” texture. The sweater is knitted top-down, starting with the back piece. The back piece is shaped like a trapezoid using German Short Rows. Then, the shoulders are worked separately by picking up stitches from the back piece. These stitches are shaped and eventually joined to form the front piece. The front and back pieces are then joined to create the body, which is worked in the round on a circular needle and finished with a ribbed edge. Stitches are picked up around the armholes for the sleeves, which are then worked in the round with decreases. Finally, stitches are picked up around the neckline, and ribbing is worked in the round before binding off using the Italian bind-off method.
